Grand Valley State University

Education

Grand Valley State University was established in 1960 with its primary campus in Allendale, Michigan and secondary locations in Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon, and Traverse City have been built to accommodate their growing enrollment. Since it began, enrollment has grown to just over 25,000 undergraduate and graduate students. They are a public, liberal arts school with 200 areas of study, offering 86 undergrad and 35 graduate degrees. GVSU has been named one of the "Best in the Midwest" by Princeton Review in 2013 and Forbes Magazine listed GVSU as one of America's top colleges in 2012.
