If you attend all three of our workshops, you will gain:
- Knowledge and strategies for where and how to effectively source and recruit diverse talent
- Skills in managing a good reputation among job seekers and employees
- Ability to cultivate a positive atmosphere in the workplace
What to expect before:
When signing up for one of our workshops, you will be asked to complete the related section of our talent assessment, MiTalent360, a tool that helps organizations across industries and throughout West Michigan evaluate their employer brand, recruitment, and retention practices.
What to expect during:
During our Talent Learning Lab, we will go over your organization’s results and discuss best practices that can be implemented within your organization. The assessment also provides us with valuable benchmark data to understand the talent landscape across our region. When joining us at our Talent Learning Lab, we will be able to share benchmark data with you to see how your company compares.
What to expect after:
Upon completing each workshop, we will also provide you with a video library that shares best practices, and a list of external resources to help strengthen and enhance your current talent strategies.
Who should attend:
These workshops are designed for all human resource professionals, recruiters, and hiring managers of all experience levels across industries.
We highly recommend you attend all three of our Talent Learning Labs and take the full assessment in order to get the most out of your experience. However, we do offer each workshop separately if you cannot attend or complete all three.
Who will be leading them:
Our Talent Learning Labs are led by TaRita Johnson, SVP of Talent & Diversity at The Right Place, and Victor Joaquin, Talent Program Manager at The Right Place. Combined, TaRita and Victor bring several decades of experience designing and executing diverse talent acquisition strategies in both the private and public sectors.
