The Right Place, Inc. has appointed five new board members to the 2020 Right Place board of directors and accepted the retirement of six others.

In early December, more than 450 business and community leaders joined The Right Place for its 23^rd Annual Economic Outlook for West Michigan. The 2020 Economic Outlook provided insights on regional, state, and national economic trends and projections, as well as current economic development conditions and activities.

On November 27th, The Right Place, Inc. and Hello West Michigan will partner to attract talent back to West Michigan. The two organizations, regional partners, and several local businesses will host the 8^th annual ReThink West Michigan event, an evening gathering to attract former West Michiganders back to the region.

Today The Right Place, Inc., in collaboration with the Montcalm Economic Alliance (MEA), the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and the City of Greenville announced that full-service fabrication and machining company, Aquest Machining & Assembly (www.aquestmachining.com), a Division of FabX Industries, will be expanding its current location at 715 Callaghan St. in Greenville.

ReThink West Michigan, a collaborative, regional event hosted by The Right Place, Inc. and Hello West Michigan, was awarded Best in Show by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) at the Council’s 2019 annual conference.

Today, The Right Place, Inc., in collaboration with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), announced that software development agency, Michigan Software Labs, will be expanding its current location at 452 Ada Dr. SE in Ada. In addition to a capital investment of $840,535, the expansion will bring 27 new jobs to the area.
