The Right Place and Lake County Economic Development Alliance enter partnership for economic development
The Right Place, Inc. and the Lake County Economic Development Alliance (LCEDA) have announced a multi-year strategic partnership to drive current and long-term economic growth in Lake County.
The Right Place, Inc. and the Lake County Economic Development Alliance (LCEDA) have announced a multi-year strategic partnership to drive current and long-term economic growth in Lake County.
Under the terms of the three-year agreement, The Right Place will support the county’s economic development efforts by providing comprehensive business retention and expansion services. The Right Place will also assist the county with its marketing and communications as a means of connecting companies to economic development resources.
“To keep West Michigan competitive in the global marketplace, our communities must collaborate and work together as one economic region,” said Birgit Klohs, President and CEO, The Right Place, Inc. “This collaborative approach has yielded positive results for other counties in our region, and we look forward to continued success through this new partnership with Lake County.”
The Right Place has hired Jodi Nichols to serve as the business development coordinator for Lake and Oceana Counties. Jodi will provide business support services to prospective and existing companies. She will work to improve the overall economic state of Lake and Oceana Counties through business retention, expansion, and attraction.
Prior to her position with The Right Place serving Lake and Oceana Counties, Jodi spent 20 years in community development for various non-profits in West Michigan.
